Canoeing Camp in Berrima

Recently the Scout section enjoyed a canoeing themed camp in the glorious Southern Highlands at Berrima Scout Camp.
It was a weekend full of learning new skills, getting out on the water and having aps of fun (even if the weather was a bit wet at times, but hey we were getting wet anyway.  We learned paddling strokes, how to communicate with each other, how to 'raft up', practiced different types of rescues and various ways how to get back into the canoe when we capsize.  It was a fun weekend!
