Venturer Scouts - 'Look Wide'
The theme of the Venturer section under the Scouts Australia Youth Program is "Look Wide"

Venturer Scouts engage in a range of age-appropriate activities and outdoor challenges to Youth develop new skills, confidence and leadership abilities in small groups. 

Some activities that Venturers can be involved with include

• Camps
• Hiking & Bushwalking
• Social Nights
• Opportunities for Adventurous Activities such as rock climbing, abseiling, scuba diving
  
• Service at Jamboree and Cuboree
• Leadership development

Every Youth Member has their own Achievement Pathway combining Outdoor Adventure Skills with Special Interest Areas and Leadership Skills to create their own unique journey through Scouting. If Youth Members choose to, they can set a goal to achieve the Peak Award - The Queen's Scout Award.

Meet the Adult Leaders of the Venturer Section
Scott (Scooter) is the Section leader in the Venturer Scouts section and has been an adult leader for 15 years. He was previously a Cub, Scout, Venturer and Rover before embarking on adult Leadership.
